You love the site, you’ve been thinking of joining, why not do it? Because you can’t - that simple feature was accidentally removed from Video Game Geek by the site admin during the recent visual upgrade. I would tell him, but I’m curious to see if he ever reads my posts. So if you want to join, contact me on MySpace & I’ll see it done.

I played yet more Halo 3 of course - you’ve really got to investigate those environments to find the right weapons for the levels. People who started this game on Heroic - you’re making this game a lot less fun for yourself. Go through the game on the standard difficulty enough times so that you’ve found all the weapon’s placements ( just like in multi-player, that’s a huge advantage ), then you’ll have a much less frustrating time on Heroic ( which assumes you’ve got the right weapons ). Also, is starting on Heroic some kind of geek machismo? Because let me tell you, even geeks only care if you’re good at the game, not that you died 100 times on a difficulty level you clearly weren’t ready for - have some fun with the game, that’s what it’s for.

I’ve been thinking of getting Phantom Hourglass for my DS, but the reviews are somewhat underwhelming. It’s not that they’re bad scores, this just isn’t the killer app everyone was hoping for. I could just go out & get it right now if I weren’t ill…maybe it’s for the best that I’m incapacitated, I would totally do that on impulse - what an ass.

An now, of course, it’s time to talk about Animal Crossing. Are you excited? Really? You frighten me…anyways, animals continue to move away from my little shantytown - why is this? Is it possible that the DS’ tiny brain can understand some of what I’m writing in my letters? I don’t know, but I should probably cool the irony & abusive language for now. I found out something useful today, which is that any animal you drop in your dwelling appears in a terrarium & can be kept indefinitely, like a pet. I guess. So welcome my pet migratory locust ( I wish I kept that octopus… ) for now, just until I can find the varmint who wanted one for some reason.

That’s about it, tune in tomorrow when I undoubtedly will have some comments on Phantom Hourglass which I will stupidly buy.

Happy Marios.
