GTA4 Ruined My Site!
Unlike professional videogame journalists who are ( by definition ) paid to do their job & have to do it to avoiding starving & being homeless, the less than dedicated staff of Video Game Geek ( i.e., Sam & myself ) have no such reasons to provide content here - something which has become pretty obvious since the release of GTA4.
Yes, after building up a fairly decent readership ( by geekblog standards, anyway… ), by God if we didn’t lose all our readers by playing GTA4 all day & never posting anything - the storied & not at all exaggerated stupidity for which I am known finally reaching that long anticipated meltdown which more or less undoes the ( somewhat less than hard ) work of about a year.
I wish I could say at this point that we’ll do better, but of course I’ll continue to play GTA4 all day & not post until I finish it. As for Sam, the last I heard from him was when he had just got himself a 360 & GTA4 for his birthday - that was weeks ago.
And then, of course, after Grand Theft Auto 4 is finally finished - Soul Calibur 4 is out, baby! But fear not - eventually I will tire of these temporary distractions & return to the pointless blogs, boring articles & seemingly endless top 10 lists which are my journalistic lifeblood.
As for Sam - who can say.
