We (and by "we" I mean Lincoln Damerst and Scott Alden) have been busy editing and uploading the videos that James and I filmed at E3 this past week. We are finally ready to unleash some of them on you, and I thought it would be fitting to start things off with what we checked out at IndieCade, especially considering it was only thing on my poll about what we should check out at E3 that garnered over 50% of your vote.

I regret not being able to spend more time at the IndieCade booth. There were over a dozen different indie games on display and they all looked very cool and well worth our time. We only managed to get demos of a few of the games, but I implore you to check out the list because I'd wager that most of you would be more than willing to ante up for at least half of the games on the list!

Here's some videos of what we were able to check out:

A rundown of what IndieCade is, with Sam Roberts - Festival Director of IndieCade:

A demo of Q.U.B.E. with Daniel Da Rocha of Toxic Games:

A demo Desktop Dungeons with Danny Day of QCF Design

A demo of Scribble Shooter with Adri Haik from Playstation Home:

If we had time to film demos of every game there, I absolutely would have done it. Maybe next year!

You know, I love seeing more puzzle-type games available, but I really want to keep low expectations for QUBE. It seems very limited, as well as sterile, stylistically. However, with puzzle games there's always a chance to experience things that you wouldn't have thought of, so I hope they're as inventive as possible.

Loving this E3 coverage, most places are covering the big games that I mostly don't care about anyway, so I'm glad to see the little stuff being noticed. (although I know you could hit it big if you could get some coverage of the big stuff, and I hope you do next year! Personally, I still prefer these guys though.)

And of course I'd already purchased the full Desktop Dungeons, but I still love hearing what the guy had to say.
