Closing the Rift: The Return of Strahd

The following adventure is designed to be set firmly in the Castle Ravenloft setting and can be played using just the elements in the Castle Ravenloft game. I have created it as a starting point for telling the story of Count Strahd through a series of connected adventures. This adventure is based off of a great adventure idea developed by Bryce K. Nielsen (shnar on BGG.com) in his custom CR adventure “The Rift in the Nook”. Thanks again shnar for a great adventure experience and a great idea. I hope you enjoy my take on it. I don’t have the savvy to create a pretty presentation matching the look of the adventure book like shnar did for his custom adventure but all the important information is included for you to create this adventure for yourself.

Castle Ravenloft Reversion Version 1.3 This is a complete "reversion" of the Castle Ravenloft board game into to 4th edition rules. (It does require that you own the 4th edition rules, either the Player's Handbook or the Rules Compendium) It still plays as a board game and doesn't require a dungeon master. However players can roll up characters and play with all the rules of regular D&D. It is very customizable according to your tastes.
