Description Edit | History

This game was the first in what has become a very popular trend for wargaming. The typically hex-based maps were simplified into an abstract system of connected spaces, which are used for army movement and to keep track of who controls the provinces politically. The armies themselves are greatly simplified, but the general in charge of the army gains much importance through his ratings for combat effectiveness and overall strategic effectiveness. Typically, dice are used to resolve conflicts between troops, however a deck of battle cards are used instead, which captures the feel of conflict much better and gives approximately the same results seemingly without the bitterness that accompanies skewed die rolls. And lastly, the overall ebb and flow of the game is determined through the play of strategy cards, which ostensibly mark certain historical events during the Revolutionary War, but each card has multiple purposes depending on which side is attempting to use it.

3 Colony Control - colorful map-based status record
This is a small reproduction of the map with boxes to place PC markers added. Place a PC marker in the box on each colony when one side gains control. Flip the PC marker when control changes. As a separate post, I have also included a file that contains 15 additional PC markers for use with this player aid.

6 We the People CRT - Version 2
This CRT replaces the Battle Card system for combat resolution. Using this speeds up the game considerably. I'm not sure who developed it but it was originally posted here by username: tklemme. I prettied it up, made it a pdf and reposted it. Then, while using it discovered that one of the footnotes to the table created confusion by using the term "strengh point" which is not defined in the rules. This revised version eliminates the use of that word for clarity.

2 Tuckboxes to use with Yu-Gi-Oh! sized card sleeves v.1.0
Did you think to put your cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! card sleeves? And then what? Where do you put them now? There's no place inside box except for this tuckboxes that fit jut inside the box, keeping the original insert, while the cards are well protected inside those sleeves. Just print this PDF and cut along the edges and use double sided tape (I worked this to be the best method but YMMV) to put it all together.
