A Call to Arms

A Call to Arms is a series of space combat wargames from Mongoose publishing. The first edition won the 2004 Gamer's Choice award at Origins. The series used the Babylon 5 license from it's start until Mongoose shut down its miniature production line in 2008 and later lost the Babylon 5 license. In 2010 Mongoose Publishing announced A Call to Arms was returning for a third edition under the Fading Suns license with the surname Noble Armada and was released in late February 2011. A Call to Arms is noted for its streamlined and fast playing rules and number of fleets/races to choose from. Throughout the series' lifetime Mongoose supported the it between books with articles in their monthly online magazine "Signs & Portents."
