SftGE Game Record v1.zip (1.03 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
Record sheets to record the results of your campaigns and the turns played.

Each scenario has one sheet you can use to record the results of your play. There is also a blank scenario summary sheet in case you design your own scenarios.

There are 3 files used to record the events on your turn. Helpful if you knock counters around or forget to adjust the track markers occasionally. Each file is two sheets. One file allows you to record 2 turns per sheet, another only 1 turn per sheet, and the other is a combination (1 turn 1 sheet, 2 turns 1 sheet).

I also included the Excel file I used to create the pdf files. It is fillable, so if you prefer to type your data in instead of printing & writing, it may be for you. The sheets are all protected without a password. If you'd like to modify the file to meet your needs, simply unprotect it and change it to suit your style.

Any suggestions to improve this are always welcome, as are any comments about errors or omissions that need to be corrected.

Nice work! I'll give these a try soon. I hope to get this back to the table as soon as I finish my current game of RAF.

Thanks for the tip, Phil!

When I play a solitaire wargame, I tend to take a lot of notes while I' m playing in my own shorthand particular to the game. My first play of SftGE was similar to my plays of Where There is Discord: War in the South Atlantic and Hornet Leader: Carrier Air Operations, both of which I am more experienced at. Even when I am familiar with the rules, there is enough going on, especially if there's a maintenance phase or constant upkeep of markers, that I'll make mistakes. So I take notes to reinforce my learning of the game as well as to catch mistakes. I keep telling myself to do a session report with one of my notesheets, but so for I haven't seen it through.

It does make the game last a little longer, but I like to make sure I'm doing things correctly.

Let me know if there's anything I can improve with the file.

Ryan
