The Patriots and Giants clash in the big game this Sunday. Make the game more interesting by betting on one or more of the following 25 Prop Bets!
Understanding Prop Bet Notation
All of the bets involve predicting a specific result followed by a positive or negative number which effect how much you'll win for correctly picking that result. For example:
Number of games Octavian will play at BGG.Con 2012 (22.5)
Over -1.05
Under +1.30
Here, you would have to choose either Over or Under 22.5. If you want to bet that the result is more than 22.5 you would have to wager a hypothetical 1.05gg to see winnings of 1.00gg (thus the -1.05). If you want to take the under you would wager a hypothetical 1.00gg in hopes of seeing winnings of 1.30gg (thus the +1.30).
If you win your bet you get your wager back plus your winnings. So if you bet 1.00gg on the Under and win, you would receive a total of 2.30gg in return (1.30gg winnings plus the original 1.00gg wager).
Rules
1- Only bets made the following way will be recognized:
A bet consists of two parts: 1) a reply to the item you went to make a wager on. The reply should include the full line containing your prediction and the amount of your wager. 2) a tip on that item in the amount you are wagering.
If betting on a (+XXX) result, please make bets in 1gg increments. The amount you win is equal to Wager*XXX
If betting on a (-XXX) result, please bet in increments equal to the XXX number. For example, if betting on "Over -1.05" then please bet in increments of 1.05. The amount you win is equal to Wager/XXX
You may only bet on one result per item. You may edit your predictions at any time until comments are closed. If you make multiple predictions only your first prediction will be considered and all tipping on that item will be applied to that first prediction.
2- Comments (and thus betting) will be shutdown at some time Sunday before kickoff (could be the monring, could be right before the game). Any geekgold tips that are made after the comments have been shutdown will not be refunded and will not be paid out (in other words, don't even think about upping your wager after things have already started  )
