This was a dark future until it ended in sappiness. Also all the main characters came equipped with super-deluxe character shields! Sorry, venting done.
Actually, at least back when I were a lad, canon was that there were an infinite number of Chaos powers, but the Big Four were much bigger than the others.
It seems unsurprising, given the setting, that the force representing the desire to rip people limb from limb (Khorne) is substantially more powerful then the representation of Atheism (Necoho the Unbeliever - see Something Rotten in Kislev)

V.
When Slaves to Darkness, the original Chaos book came out Khorne and Slaneesh were the biggest powers, with Nurgle and Tzeentch next and loads of minor powers below them
Over time Slanesh has been rewritten to be the weakest of the chaos powers. I guess the wargaming community had a hard time with a pink clad bisexual god. I know numerous people i played were uncomfortable with my bright pink army. A bit sad that a thing like a bright pink army makes some people all self conscious about their sexuality
Still exploiting peoples homophobia at my bright pink army led to many victories.
I know id much rather worship a pleasure god than a killing god

Never, ever mention that horrible turd of a book again!
Anyone here play Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War on PC?? I think there might be a few..
Yo! Bought the Gold edition (included the Winter Assault expansion) so I could play my Imperial Guard. Nothing quite like watching your screen fill up with lasgun beams and watching the enemy's health bar tick down oh so slowly.
I played the Demos of the Space Marines and Imperial Guard. I liked the Space Marines Demo.
By the way the guys at teardown.se have finished their PC Alien Assault game (remember it was originally Space Hulk?)
