Once again I am running this list as a central location to let your Secret Santa know when your (hopefully much appreciated) gift has arrived to your house.

Use this list to record what your Secret Santas sent you and remember to include any comments such as thanks that you want to give your Secret Santa. When you post on this list, you may want to make a note on your profile with a link to your entry so your Secret Santa can easily locate your confirmation of delivery and your reaction. That way your Secret Santa can look to see if you received your gift and you can post any comments you may have about the gift here and you can reply without the identity of your Secret Santa ever having to be released!

Please only make an entry when you actually receive the present!

I don't know about anyone else, but I generally obsess about whether a package has arrived at it's intended destination. I drive my wife crazy with checking tracking numbers constantly! So it will be nice to see when those gifts are actually received by the giftee (or are they just sitting unclaimed on the neighbor's porch?)

To see how the previous years' editions of this list have gone, look at these links:

"2008 List"

"2007 List"

"2006 List"

Simon's yearly breakdown of games:
**EDIT Just Added** Most Popular Secret Santa Games of 2009

Most Popular Secret Santa Games of 2008

Most Popular Secret Santa Games of 2007

Most Popular Secret Santa Games of 2006

[b]New Note (I placed this in the comments section as well): If you have added a "Comment" of your gift receipt, please take the time to "Add Item" to this GeekList rather than to place a comment in this section of the receipt of your gift. The actual items being added is how the statistics get accumulated for Simon Hunt's great results list located at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/49122

A good example of how to make an entry useful for this other list is located at: this entry.

Making an actual entry will also make it easier for your Secret Santa to locate your Item.

Thanks to him I could hunt down some really cool finds on the Swedish branch of Ebay (guess there are no reindeers in Australia?) that I've wanted to get my hands on for some time;

Nuns on the run
Scotland Yard
Illuminati: Crime lords

So thanks again Warren!

Thanks so much to my Santa for sending our family Bang and it's expansion!!

We were right in the middle of my Intern year of Residency and so things were more than just a touch crazy.

Had a blast!
Can't wait to do it again next year.

Thanks again Santa!!!!

Got home from a business trip to Chicago and a package is waiting in the driveway (probably for a day or two, good thing we live in a good neighborhood!)

Went to pick it up, and there in the mail is another small package. Neither has a return address I recognize.

Next day I decided to open the small envelope. A wrapped present! "Do not open until Christmas" it says. Okay, I guess I can live with that, but what is the big box then?

Opened the big box, and it is looking like Santa has been very generous to me!

All are marked to wait for Christmas, so I'll respect Santa's wishes. My wife is already nervous about duplicates on Christmas day, so watch this space for possible trades!!

Thank you Santa!!

So I added what I thought was a nice note to my Secret Santa last week and now I cannot find my post anywhere?

I am really hoping he/she saw my original message but in case they have not, I wanted to express my extreme gratitude for the Gifts of Cyclades and Lord of the Rings The Confrontation deluxe edition!

Cyclades was tops on my list and I am so grateful to have it in my collection.

Lord of the Rings The Confrontation deluxe edition is fantastic because I am a big Tolkien fan and this is a must have!

Thank you!!

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.

But, Thanks. I think it because the example on this years list for what a good post with multiple games in it looks like was one from this list. At least that is the only way I can thing that I even got to this page in the first place.

This was my first year with Secret Santa. My first Secret Santa was a Selfish Secret Santa. Another Secret Santa was assigned. Nothing received yet but I don't give up hope. Nevertheless I will participate next year again. This I've made someone happy, I hope do it next year too. As everyone know it's more about the giving then the receiving!

I feel for you.
It's really unfortunate to participate in this event and only be on the giving side, even though I must say I had great fun selecting some fitting games for my target. Judging from the post(s) in this thread, my target really enjoyed my choices.
I had an Unfortunate Santa: my packages got lost in the mail - that's what Tom V. told me. A pity Especially as apparently I would have got Pandemic + Expansion. As I couldn't wait any longer I decided to buy these two games on my own then!
Not sure if I'll participate next year. I have some mixed feelings about this first time
