I don't know if it includes the "More" from "Mü & More", but "Mü" is now a universal binary in the app store - which means that for one price you get a game that runs (in proper format and resolution) on both the iPad and iPhone. Includes AI players and bluetooth multiplayer.

Mods, Please delete this if I am wrong about this.
I have never played Khet, but this looks to possibly be a clone or knockoff. Could someone confirm/deny?
Its called Laser Chess and it is free on the appstore. Looks to be relatively unknown. It needs more polish, but could hold promise I suppose.

Having Boggle available isn't news, and I love it, because I'm a big Boggle Whore, but I can never tell the game that because "whore" is not allowed. Apparently Hasbro felt that some words must be shielded from young eyes and therefore all your usual swears are not counted as words. Fair enough. But there are a lot of other exclusions that are just plain baffling. While "tit" is still legal, "slut" is not. Neither is "orgy", which is a perfectly standard word, not slang, which just happens to describe an often sexual activity. And at the ridiculous end of the scale, "queer" is also verboten, despite having a completely innocuous standard meaning. I haven't found any menu item to restore these words since I'm a grown-up and can handle them.

This is the Japanese 4-player variant of Mahjong, also called Reach (riichi) Mahjong. I play this a lot online and was delighted to find an iPad version.
It includes solo play vs. AI as well as an online mode. No local networked play is available. The online mode requires points, of which you are given a small amount to begin with. If you win, you gain points and vice versa if you lose. If you run out of points, you have to purchase more in the app. Kind of crappy if you're a beginner and lose a lot.

Currently available as an iPhone app, but it looks and plays great on the iPad. It includes the ability to choose from a variety of versions of the game, including classic and carbon. It's also been announced that this version of the game is going to be the first to get the Ladybug expansion. Hopefully we'll see a full iPad release in the future.

I stumbled upon this Pentrow game for the iPad the other day, and it's a decent implementation of Pentago.
http://itunes.apple.com/app/pentarow/id320730159?mt=8
There is no AI yet, but the game is great fun for two human players. It uses arrow buttons to rotate the square segments, but that actually works well for simplicity's sake.
Best of all, the game is FREE!
I couldn't believe how convenient it was to play this game with someone on the large iPad screen. I like the real physical game, but I can't deny the convenience of just tap-and-go while sitting together on the couch or in a car.
EDIT: Actually, I don't know why this didn't come up when I searched last time, but there is also an official version called Pentago HD, for $0.99. From the screenshot, it looks like this one has an AI to play against. http://itunes.apple.com/app/pentago-hd/id385496171?mt=8

This is a HUGE improvement over the iphone version. Every variation I would want, and beautiful visuals. The touch controls for gameplay are highly responsive, with large easy to touch cards.
