Just preordered this game. Surprisingly, everyone in my family who I would never think would be interested in this complex a game seemed genuinely excited about it. Looking forward to finally unwrapping it at Essen and giving it a go.
Frustratingly, I live about 20 minutes away from Karlsruhe where the board games are being stored before the show. If I could just drive over and pick one up... laugh

It has nothing to do with the 2001 game of the same name. It's a brand new game which looks like a cross between Lord of the Rings and Beowulf: The Legend, being a card-driven adventure game with some cooperative element (as far as I understand it's not cooperative but if no one stops Smaug then no one wins). So I added the game to this geeklist: Non-cooperative games where cooperation is important

Having played the prototype at LeiriaCon 2010 i must say i really like the small adjustments... good game here... and i did not like the original...

Those are a bit handier for me 'cause I can print them on one A4 sheet (that I take in and out of my pockets an infinite amount of times through the fair).
Also, I can print multiple copies of them and hand them to my fellows.

These are very cool, but the big booths I usually know anyway. I already printed out a numbered map and marked all the relevant booth with a textmarker, so I don't run around in circles too much.
