I'm a 20 year professional in the commercial art field. I got my start in 1989 doing background inks for DC comics when I was a senior in high school. In 1997 I opened my own studio and have been there ever since. I consider myself lucky to have always had a full time art career, never have I had less than a 40 hour work week of art since 1990. I average about 1,200 designs per year.
We currently act as the art department for over 250 companies across the United States, but I would be happy to work with anyone in the board game field directly.
Other style are available but I focus on this cartoony style, being bold bright and fun, more example at: www.graphicillustrator.co.uk with contact email or geek mail me :-) love classic fantasy and role play themes
I am currently developing a english portfolio about my work in boardgames (for my promotional trip to Essen this year ), but, for the moment, you can see more pictures in:
I am a semi-professional fantasy cartographer, specializing in bringing imaginary worlds to life in map form. These include world, regional, or "battle" (VTT) maps. Previous commissions have included maps for on-line use, video games, novels, and RPG publications.
I've not done any board games to date, and would like to get some experience working on board games, hence the thread I posted offering to work with amateur/hopeful game designers for gratis or for a token amount, depending on the project and my current availability (though I will not turn down any serious commission requests either ).
Hello, Im a cartoonist/illustrator living in the Pacific Northwest. I want to take this opportunity to hone my skills on this site. If you are interested, please let me know, we can discuss.
My name is John Ariosa, I am a freelance illustrator and concept artist available for work. Posted bellow are some samples, my full portfolio is available at www.johnariosa.com. If you would like to get in contact about a project or have any questions I can be reached at ariosadeign@gmail.com.
Hi everyone! My name is Jarrod Owen, I'm a freelance illustrator from Adelaide, Australia. I'm fairly new to creating art for board games, but the experiences I've had so far have been very positive and I'm looking to continue that.
Here are some samples of my work, to see more and to contact me, please visit my website ---> http://www.jarrodowen.com
In addition to several years experience as an illustrator, I also have a background in graphic design - having studied it for 3 years at uni - and am open to accepting design jobs too.
I'm a freelance illustrator, concept and 2D game artist and designer from the Netherlands. I'm always on the lookout for interesting projects and new challenges!
I work both alone as well as in teams. All samples shown and on my blog is work done by me alone.
Have a nice day and contact me whenever you need art direction, production art or just a second opinion! I'm usually booked for about a month in advance, so if it's any big last minute work I often can't help out. Sorry!
I'm an illustrator, comic creator, painter, video game graphic artist (2D/3D), character modeling specialist, web and print designer, web coder.
I can totally seamlessly adapt to any existing graphic/illustration style in a project, or do my own take, as the game creator might prefer. Have long experience in figure/anatomy drawing, color, lighting, etc, both in traditional and digital painting.
I can do any 2D artwork, be it design or illustration, make 3D modeled figures (based on concept or concept art by myself) for sending them to 3D printing companies, full page paintings, etc.
Still, I am looking for small gigs, not large projects in quantity of work to be done. IE, not 200 cards decks (unless time frame is large and the pay is good), but mostly small tasks where high quality is required or very convenient.
These samples are mostly sketches, old non finished work in most of the cases (have finished newer stuff under NDA and similar). But an expert glance might see the drawing skills and maybe other advantages.
My name is Katy Grierson, I'm a freelance Illustrator availble for work. Please check out my portfolio - www.kovah.co.uk You can contact me via email - katy@kovah.co.uk
