iOS Abandonware - The Graveyard

This list is not a very pleasant one. It's a list of board games ported to iOS that seem to have been abandoned by some part of the chain in software development, either by the game designer (cut licensing rights), the game developer (stopped coding), or publisher (stopped supporting). It's not a list any game should be on.
It's not a question of shaming, but rather naming the iOS board game apps that we play and love, yet seem to have undergone no development, when, to our opinion, the app could seriously do with improvement, or has an unfinished feel to it.
Perhaps, while browsing this list, a designer, developer or publisher, upon seeing his treasured app listed, may be prompted to reconsider it for a fresh release cycle.

I've contacted the developer Lucas John, twice, just wondering if there was any sign of life in the app, perhaps an ipad version etc, but no answer. The publisher Chillingo has only mentioned in a tweet to a BBG user that they will keep us informed if anything changes, but they haven't, so it hasn't.

There are a few liar's dice clones out there, but the one i like the most, and the one that is going on this list is Dead Man's Dice, by Estella Touch http://www.estellatouch.com/games/dead-mans-dice/, itunes http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/stat?id=Smq3RC8yf5I&offe...
The website gives a charming account of a recently married couple graduating and developping their apps together, one of which is Dead Man's Dice. They release their apps and post "it feels great finishing it". Now, we all know that in the constantly evolving iOS ecosystem (oh the cringing similies), nothing is ever finished. We'd love to see it brought up to date.
The current app is version 1.0, and released in October 2009.

The game plopped onto iTunes last September with its name misspelled, has since had some price fluctuations but little more. This past March they did an update and promised that news of an iPad version (either making the app universal or an iPad specific version) was coming soon along with info on expansions. Since then it's been 7 months of absolute silence. They no longer reply in their thread over on TouchArcade and they don't respond to e-mails.

This game looks so great on the iphone and plays so well. Everything about it is perfect. It even had bluetooth multiplayer available when it came out. Sadly, the developer James sold the rights to is uninterested in persuing this fabulous port with what is now basic features like retina, gamecenter and ipad support. And it's been two years.
The dice rolled onto the floor and there's noone to pick them up - Abandonware.
