Another useless boardgame picture.
Seriously, you took the time to run down someone else's contribution to the geek for no reason whatsoever. If you had a problem with the pic for some greater purpose, such as it diluting the overall quality of the pictures on the website as a whole, fine, explain your point in that manner.
As it is, your one line response adds even less to the geek than the purported "useless" picture that it is complaining about.
Oh, and nice Christian microbadge by the way. I must have missed the part in the bible where it said to be a jerk to strangers.

Kevin...doing his best to make gamers and Christians look bad since 2005.
Lance, we all know you are not new to the site. However, you may be new to Kevin's behavior. This is not new for him at all. He has been behaving this way towards game pictures with people involved (especially women) for quite some time. The fact that he touts himself as a "Christian" via the microbadge makes me question his behavior. Trust me, he does not speak for any other person - only himself.
I've found your religious affiliation has little to do with your behavior. It's more of joining a club that more or less reflects your beliefs (or, in some cases simply an affiliation you picked up as a child and cling to as if a security blanket) but a jerk is a jerk no matter what he/she aligns themselves with. I'm an atheist and I've had people who knew that about me expect a certain type of behavior, specifically having no morals (since apparently having religion is a prerequisite for that). But that is silly, there are less than savory people and saints in every group.
That said, this isn't useless. It shows a family having fun with a board game, sharing experiences and all that jazz. People will get amusement out of it for the sake of the baby, or the wife or how there is a pitcher of water right next to all that cardboard, dear god!

Parenthetical slams at other religions is a certain type of behavior I expect from people with an advertised Atheist affiliation.
Nevermind, I don't want to start a theological debate on a board game page. Suffice it to say I wasn't knocking religion and you took my comments out of context.

No. Your parenthetical slams were out of context. You made your point perfectly without them.
I'm assuming that's Mom in the picture. This picture shows how great moms are at multi-tasking. Mom is obviously caring for and protecting her child. Not only that, you can tell from the look on the kid's face that everything is right with the world. At the same time, you can tell from the look on Mom's face that she has a devious plan of destruction in mind for one or more of her opponents. She just has to double-check a minor rule point to make sure it is legal (my guess is that it is slightly unconventional) so she can pull it off.

Maybe Kevin is just jealous about people sharing good times and have fun, I guess.
Must be very sad to sit around with lots of games an no-one else to play with...instead of Chihuahuas, of course!
Is there any chance we could refer to him as the "Chihuahua guy" or the "Guy with issues"?
I find myself becomming slightly paranoid whenever he's referred to as Kevin.
It´s not your fault that his name is Kevin, too. Before I made the post, I took a closer look to his avatar and his profile like I always do before making any post - So his name and interests are no secrets. My post was just my personal impression about this guy...
So I´ve edited my last post and changed his name into his BGG-nickname. I don´t want to be the one that makes to feel any Kevin paranoid!
"Wait, look there, Mom. It says 'may' not 'must.'"
Kid got nothing else in his head so why not just fill it up with rules, right?
Hey, it's useful training for the day when we're all interacting with natural language programming enabled systems and have to be able to spout good rules at a moments notice.

At least Kevin didn't say "I'd do her! " like he does with most other pictures with women in them. Classy guy.
How does the Angry Canadian still have posting privileges??
The right to free speech and all that... for which we thank America.
OOOH religion AND politics covered in the same thread
Joking aside - yes it was a good-humoured jibe to our friends across the pond - I do like the American way. Alas, thanks to prohibitive healthcare for my son (we'd need quite a bit of medical insurance cover), my now limited skill set, and lack of funds, we cannot emigrate as yet. Therefore, please send us more V8s and guns. (I wholeheartedly apologise for the British trying to take away your right to bear arms back in 1775).
I wish the family in the picture a long and happy life!

You seem to misunderstand what "free speech" means.
"Free speech" is a term mostly used by lawyers and political minded folks. For most of us working class people, being a big mouthed jerk in public will still earn you a nice punch in the kisser. Pity that can't be done on the Internet...

Cute family!!
[And while I would never discuss this with regards to specific users, if there are any particular users whose posts you'd rather not see, all you have to do is click on the little arrow beside the envelope under their username, then click on the red X labeled "Hide User's Posts". Problem solved! Over the years I've done this with approximately 20 different users, and my BGG experience has become much more friendly and respectful as a result! ]
Yes it is and the wife made it herself. Kinda hard to not have one if your breatfeeding I would say.
As for the water I noticed it when I saw the picture and thats why one of the tags is; water
But to explain it I can say that new moms carry around water with them all the time, preferably in something bigger than a regular glass and probably with a drinking straw in it.
Or at least that is how it has been in my life so far.
And for the Orcs; I have soft spot for skeletons I am afraid and they had a nice combo in that game as I remember it
BTW; Thanks for all the kind words and heated discussions!
