I rather like this painting. It needs a tad more board details, unfortunately, or perhaps more pieces or something.

But, I love the style (not necessarily the animals, but the feel of the characters in the painting is great). In particular, I really love the smile on the bull/ox). I would be very interested to see more in this vein, maybe some train games?

Can you guess who is winning and who is not?

And I can't promise anything sure about new pictures from this artist, but my guess is that there may be some coming up.

So, what about this painting do you really like again? LOL Not the game board, not the pieces, not the animals...

Actually, as an artist, more detail on the board would be imbalancing to the rest of the painting. My question is, what the hell is the black and white guy?!?!? A skunk/crazed terrier? And clearly the raccoon is winning. Look at his expression! He has something up his sleeve.

The furious creature who is losing badly is a cat. It features in a couple of more paintings as well, but those paintings are unfortunately not board game related.

Well, Hannu, I am a gamer and a painter too. I think it was a great idea! My friend wants me to make a drawing of dogs playing Settlers of Catan. We'll see!

I painted this picture. Inspiration for this painting came from our Imperial gaming sessions. Me, my boyfriend (OpettajaH) and one friend of us often play Imperial together. Our plays are very intense. Including at least two hours speculations of the winning strategies in a local bar afterwards.

The creature who is evidently loosing it all is a cat called Pyssy*.
I have painted a couple of pictures of him. He is an impatient and sometimes illtempered lad. In this picture the racoon have spoiled Pyssy´s taxation with his army. It causes a fierce reaction.

I decided not to paint any more board details because I found it unnecessary. The factory and army say it all. I also prefer drawing little details rather than painting them.

(* Pyssy means a gun in Finnish)
