Many UK BGG members like myself have done the pilgrimage to Essen and many UK Board Game Traders and publishers have done so as well. UK Games Expo is aiming to create an event in the UK inspired by the Great Essen Spiel.

The board game publishers along with other gaming genres have pushed this event forward. Now we open our doors to BGG members and say Come, support the event and have some fun.

We have 100 tournaments and RPG sessions plus over 50 public participation
games tables and over 50 exhibitors with:

· Great board games including new releases. Sneak Peak at the new Talisman. New games from Ragnar Brothers, JKLM, Warfrog, Surprised Stare and others!

· RPGS inclduing a sneak peak at Dark heresy and 30+ Games systems. Some Living RPG events.

· Card games including major qualifying Magic and WOW events

· Miniatures games including Flames of war and new Star Wars Ships

· Computer Games including Guild Wars and LAN games and the Wii.

· Imperial storm troopers from Star wars.

· Specially for kids: Wizkids are sponsoring a special Star Wars Look
a Like Competition. Come dressed as a character from Star Wars and you can
win a prize!

AND MUCH MORE

The booking system is now live! Tickets £3.95 adults, £1.95 Children, family Tickets available. (Tournament fees from £4 which include the admission fee) Special youth organisation tickets available.

So you are able to book tickets for events and/or just the public admission tickets now. Pre booking your tickets give you:
Enhanced Goodie Bag (More Goodies)
Extra Prize Draw Ticket
Chance to get a GOLD Ticket for your chance at the BIG Prize (£100 spending
money valid at UK Games Expo)

As a BGG member we will give a £1 discount to Normal Entry Tickets.
Email richard@ukgamesexpo.co.uk for your BGG discounted entry ticket
(This discount does not apply to the tournaments as we need to cover the cost of that space)

David Norman who is running the Grand Board Game Tournament at UK Games Expo will actually be at Baycon. So whilst you are having fun there see David and sign up for our tournament in June. Prizes include games signed by Reiner Knizia, vouchers to spend on the trade stands and others.
