You can't directly add a YouTube video as an item - you still have to choose one of Game, Publisher, Designer, File, GeekList, or Thread.
Once you have selected the appropriate item and image you can embed a video in the Comments:
The format is [youtube = xx] where xx is the Video Id ( for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXM-5cDPvl8 it is iXM-5cDPvl8. Don't forget to remove the spaces around the =.
You are most welcome, D K! Although I have to warn you, you have now build up my anticipation for a most amazing and video-ful GeekList.
I am indeed in downtown Toronto, where I live with my wife in a doghouse-sized abode they call an apartment. I'd certainly welcome getting together for some gaming. I do most of my gaming with my wife so I always look forward to being able to try out games with different opponents or in a multi-player situations.
I have quite a few games that we haven't gotten around to playing yet. Yes, it's a sickness and I should be in full-blown quarantine.
Here's another little 'trick' that you can DO with these, while if you 'click' on the actual 'video' twice really fast, then it OPENS separately in case you'd like to FIND another one with this method. I usually will "copy & paste" their URL into the "YouTube" one here, and then "click & remove" everything including the =~sign to the LEFT of that, and you should be "good to go" for that now. Like this here: [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= iXM-5cDPvl8 ] REMOVE the emboldened section, including the =~sign.
Robert, it saddens me that you live in Nepal, or somewhere in the United States. I would tape you to a chair and force you to play some sweet games like Himalaya and Keythedral! And I'm sure you'd even enjoy them!
