Hi Rebecca,
I think the only two sort of Official groups are at the Sheffield Wargames Society, which meet on Wednesdays at the Polish Club on Ecclesall Road, tends to be miniature Wargames mostly though and it can be a bit clichy, I could arrange a game there though probably (not been down myself for a while).
There is one set up near Meadowhall recently though I don't have the details, mostly chaps for that one apparently.
Myself and a couple of friends try to play on a weekly basis though it's been a bit hit and miss of late :-) I can have a word with them if thats more useful, that's usually on Abbeydale Road.

If you can make it over to York, Beyond Monopoly! (York's friendliest boardgame club) meets every 1st & 3rd Saturdays, 10am to 6pm, come and go as you like. Your first visit is free! We've got a big collection of games and we'd be very happy to see you. Next meeting is July 7th.

Hi Sheffield Folk,
My wife and I are both keen gamers, living in Arbourthorne, but not currently part of a gaming community. Our latest crazes have been Railroad Tycoon, Powergrid, and most recently Twilight Struggle. My ideal day would be to complete a game of Twilight Imperium: I can't think of time more optimally spent. My wife has a 3 hour hard limit though. Our collection represents well the kind of games that we like. If there's a game going on then tell us about it!

I've just found this thread and am looking for gamers in Sheffield too!
I go to the mighty Beyond Monopoly!, in York, but am obviously looking for something in Sheffield too.
I'm in Heeley - right near Abbeydale road! Please let me know if you're organising any games nights, or let me know who to contact and I'll put my house on the circuit.
I have about 50 games, from the modern stuff backwards i.e. Puerto Rico, Settlers, Battlelore, Cheapass etc down to Dungeonquest (GW), The Legend of Robin Hood (Av. Hill), The Lonely Mountain (Crown Ent.) etc. However, I'm mainly looking to play the modern ones!
