Hi All,

I will be in London on business, and will only have half a day
on a Sunday to wander around

I know all about the wonderful Orc's Nest, Playin' Games
and Leisure Games, but none of them seem to be open on Sundays.

Does anyone know of a games store (preferably in central London)
that is open on Sundays?

Thanks,

Roy

I wish I could be more helpful, but I remember there was an AWESOME game store walking distance from the British Museum, that I am fairly sure was open on Sunday.

Anyone know the name of that store?

Good luck!

Hi,

The games store that you are taking about is called Playing Games.

It is situated just opposite the british museum in a street called museum street (I think is called like that but I am not sure)

But it is very difficult to miss.

they open in sundays up to 17:00

Good buy!

YES, this is very important. I walked in looked around and was totally unimpressed. Was walking out and thought 'hey isn't this the one people were talking about a downstairs?'. Then I noticed the stairs leading down.

I was walking around somewhere near the West End. It was night so everything was closed. But I stumbled upon a very large sci-fi memobilia and book store. It looked like it had some games in there too. I think it was between Leicester Square and Covent Gardens.

Thanks all.

Yes Playin' games is an amazing shop, but I couldn't find any website
for them or anything listing their opening hours - hence this
forum post. If they are indeed open on Sunday then they will be the first
stop on my tour...

Does Forbidden Planet carry games? And are they open on Sunday?
