Hello, I always see the regular board games; risk, monopoly, chess, checkers and that but scarcely see other ones. Are there good sites with good online versions of various board games or maybe doesn't have to be online at all just a program version of.
Thanks.

Days of Wonder does Ticket to Ride Online pretty well: http://www.daysofwonder.com/tickettoride/en/content/online/
And Blokus works great (it's just a teensy bit buggy sometimes): http://www.blokus.com/online-game/

The selection isn't as expansive as BrettSpielWelt, but GameTableOnline.com is hands down the best online implementation I've found, and they have a few really good games on there.

If you enjoy abstract strategy games, there are a ton of great games available as PBW at superdupergames.org, & the folks there are very nice!

Not sure if you're looking for something like this, but a previous list about computer adaptaions of boardgames pointed me to
http://citadelles2.free.fr/solo.php
which is an online version of Citadels. I like it because it also has an option for solo play against AI opponents, has a high score list so you can see how your scores stack up against others (if you like, not mandatory though) and (best of all!) it's not blocked by my work filter, so I can play here in my cubicle when I'm not surfing the BGG website...
(uh... I mean 'when I'm taking a brief break from my incredibly hard work')
EDIT: The link I posted may bypass the home page for the site, which also has directions for the game. So, if you're thinking about citadels but wanted a try-it-before-you-buy-it, this would be pretty good too (as well as teaching you how to play). Look around from the above site, or google citadels free online, and you should be set.
