So I have a problem. I am geek gold poor. And I have been for a while now. And I am fed up
But I don't want charity.. Oh no. I want to work for it...
I also like to start everyday with a a quick speed painting to keep in practice and get myself warmed up. Recent morning doodles are shown below.
So I thought what could be fun is if people post boardgame painting requests, and I will paint them! All you need to do is offer some geek gold, and poof - you get art! I'll make you an avatar out of it if you like it...but remember... I usually only spend at most an hour banging these out, so don't expect a Rembrandt!
So let's go!
for comparison, here is something i spent a wee bit more time on:

I'm sorry for the GG but I cannot see a poor garroted artist on the BGG curbside.
You'll get more, say 20 , if you paint me something relating to Mexica or any game pertaining to my top ten.
Edit: forgot to include the admiration of the style portrayed in the "banged out in an hour" images. Fantastic.

My wife and I are both musicians and respectfully we would be honored to support your art! I like the idea of something painted from our top 10 list or simply something from our profile page if you see something inspirational! I too will offer 20 more! And please do sign your painting, we want you to have the publicity!

I don't have anything in mind now but by the time it gets to my turn I'll think of something. And you're selling yourself way too cheap at 20. I'll give you 40 GG (and that's ripping you off).
Edit: Since it's the source of a lot of my Geekgold (I made the microbadges), I'd like to see some Blood Bowl art. You can goto the Blood Bowl video game site if you want some inspiration. Thanks!

If you can figure out a way to render Monk in some way connected to any of my favorite games, you've got yourself 30 geekgold minimum.

Haha.. I appreciate the sentiment Really, I do these warm-up paintings anyway, and this is a fun way to get varied subject matter to tackle. I'm not trying to make a GG killing here - so don't feel bad requesting artwork with any amount! (though judging by the growing list, there could be a bit of a wait... hehe)
Oh- and you guys can be as specific as you want. Don't feel bad about picking a certain game! (Or even something as bizarre as Monk in a game... hehe)

James and the Mrs. request: 10 Days in Africa
Colonel Mustard (driving) and Gretal (flying) risk 9 lives in 10 days.
(Check out patchwerq's profile to meet the kitties )
I know this is early, but once I got the idea it was too tempting not to paint right away

Andy,
Your work is really beautiful. If this is what you can accomplish in an hour...you will soon be the richest Geek in the land. I especially appreciate the sledding piece as a sucker for indigenous art(it is now my background at work). I have no geekgold to offer ( I just paid for the Teachers Guild) but your work is certainly something to save up for....off to reject some pics I guess.

Wow... I love it. You should post higher resolution copies, prints of this stuff would be great decorations for a game room.
I'm not sure if these are acceptable to be submitted as game images, but I think they should be.
Now I need to acquire a lot more geekgold so I can make a request...

Curious... what would you charge for a Zombie dressed in a torn and blood spattered tux sitting down to a fancy dress affair with the waiter just lifting the silver dome off the screaming head of a man with the cranium cracked open? I'd pay something for that.
