This is a supplemental written review for a Games Overboard Video Review:

I have the best wife EVER! Not many spouses would let ou shell out the $200.00 needed to get a good Crokinole board. I finally ordered a Hilinski Brothers board and got it in the other day. It's everything I hoped it would be and more.

We've already logged 20 or so hours on the thing, and I'm sure it will be a staple for people to be playing all the time. I love how easy it is to teach, and how it's such a great two-player game, as well as a team game. I'm going to order a set of four different color discs so we can play 4-man Everyone for themselves style.

So anyway. We were playing the other night and I was recording some of our rounds, just for fun to see if we could get some good shots on video, and I said. "Hey! We should just do a review while I have this out" and we did. It's a pretty short review and then you get to watch a quick four-player round to get the feel for the game, but I think you'll enjoy it. Tim has a really good bank shot about halfway through the round and my wife scores a twenty also.

Have fun and be sure to stop by our site for more reviews, blogs, and other stuff

Where's the thumbs down for making me want to spend 200 dollars when I don't need that kind of financial burden?

Great video! I've been longing for a Crokinole video with complete game play.

Beautiful board, BTW. I've dropped plenty of hints (and Hilinski links) to my wife that I'd love a board for Father's Day. She even went through the picture gallery with me trying to find a board we liked. This could be a great Father's Day!

It does take them around a month to finish one. Present it like getting an Air Hockey Table or a Foosball table. It might seem more reasonable than "just a board game" laughlaughlaugh

Good luck and I hope you get a board soon.

In another time's forgotten space, your eyes looked through your mother's face. Wildflower seed on the sand and stone, may the four winds blow you safely home.

Nice video, Brian. I've had a Hilinski board since September and it is the best gaming investment I've made to date. It's difficult to describe to people what's great about this game. You've captured that nicely in this video, mainly due to the second gopher-hole shot which ricocheted off the opponents disc sending it to the ditch. It's moments like that which makes the investment worth every penny!

I can't believe you forgot to mention the "one cheek rule" laugh
