Expensive, but realize that they are crazy hard to get (at least at PAX prime they were)
The Gray Hag you got for demo the game in the D&D area. They ran like 3 or 4 demos every two hours or so. So they passed out about 15 of these each few hours. My group got 4 (I have 2 of them). The other two are likely to be thrown away before they get sold.
From what I've gathered, to get the Kobald you had to stand in a line (30 to 60min wait) to demo 4E in the booth with the big dice. Guessing the demo ran about 15min (I never stood in line or watched very long) Each demo was with 4 or 5 people with only one running at a time. Then you had to roll a Nat 20 during that demo and they would give you the promo.
Guessing most of them were lost/thrown away or kept by people who would also get the game. I bet few realize how much they are worth and thus selling them.
