Starpath is listed as a publisher on the pages for the Atari 2600 Supercharger games. Examples include:
Communist Mutants from Space Escape from the MindMaster Fireball http://videogamegeek.com/videogameversion/69673/us-atari-260...
However, none of these games are listed on the Starpath page, which comes up as a "Hardware Manufacturer":

If you go to the "Linked Items" portion of Starpath's page, you'll see a link that says "Video Game Publisher" - if you click that, the view will change from hardware that Starpath have created to videogames they've published. All those games are there.

I was fooled by that once, too.

Huh, I wasn't aware of this, either!
How does the default get set? Is it always hardware? Or is it the first item that gets linked to the company? It seems as though something like the most items should determine the default...

I'm not sure what determines the default, but I think it's HWMfr / Pblsh / Dvlpr order, picking the first one from that list that's relevant to the company concerned. I think...

Thanks for the info - sounds like I should have headed for VGG Suggestions instead.

On that note - it would be nice if all VGG specific items for a publisher (i.e. hardware and software) could be combined on one page by default. In other words, there should be an "All" linked items option as the default with the ability to filter by publisher, developer, hardware manufacturer using something similar to the current method.
In the alternative, if such a combined list is not possible, when you click a publisher's name from a video game page, then perhaps the "software publisher" version of the company page should pop up?

If you visit the company's page by clicking on a link on a database item page, it would make sense to display by default the company type for which it was linked.
