I have been uploading some covers. I had scaled them to the maximum allowable size by the covers policy: 1900x1400.

By this I mean that the image is scaled so that one dimension is the maximum resolution, 1400 pixels or 1900 pixels, while the other dimension does not exceed the other limit.

I have found tonight that sometimes uploading an image that meets these criteria results in a message "There was an error during the upload.".

On further investigation, it appears to be when one of the dimensions is equal to 1900 pixels.

For example I have just uploaded a file with a resolution of 1400x1797 and it uploaded correctly. But a file with a resolution of 1351 x 1900 failed.

By scaling the 1351 x 1900 image to 1350 x 1899, the image was uploaded without a problem.

I was able to repeat this with four different files.

Is it possible that code has been introduced to filter out oversized images, but that it is incorrectly rejecting images which exactly meet the maximum limit?

Edit: For some files, I had to reduce the size by more than a single pixel.

Edit 2: It seems to be filesizes over about 5MB that causes the problem
