One of the setups I played last night included 3 cards from the Base Set, 3 cards from Alchemy, and 4 cards from Prosperity.

The cards included in the kingdom supply were:
University
Philosopher's Stone
Throne Room
Remodel
Monument
Vault
Apprentice
Market
Hoard
King's Court
Platinum/Colony

At first glance, I was trying to debate whether to attempt King's Court'ed Monuments or building up a big deck with Hoards and King's Court'ed Markets and Universities for Philosopher's Stones. In the end, I decided to try a new approach - a variation on the classic "Turbo Remodel" strategy (Chapel, Throne Room, Remodel to yield a 5-card hand clearing 2 Provinces from the supply per turn). I've never tried "Turbo Remodel" before but had recently read the details on it. If you can "Turbo Remodel" with Throne Rooms, why not "Hyper Remodel" with Kings Courts?

The first few turns were spent Remodeling and buying Silver until I was able to buy an Apprentice and Remodel a Silver into another Apprentice. Trashing Silver with Apprentice eventually yielded enough to get a King's Court. Even then, it took a few more turns of triple-Remodeling and/or triple-Apprentice to really get things going. At one point, my deck consisted of something like 4 King's Court, 2 Remodels, 4 Apprentice, and a few other odds and ends (i.e. a few treasure). I wasn't positive what I had in my deck, but decided to start going crazy with the Apprentices and in two turns trimmed everything down to 5 cards - 2 King's Courts, 2 Apprentices, and a Remodel.

Next turn: King's Court the Remodel to yield Platinum, King's Court, and King's Court.
Next turn: King's Court the Remodel to yield Colony, Platinum, Platinum
Remaining turns: King's Court the Remodel to yield Colony, Colony, Colony

My friend plays the game for fun and isn't a stickler about the rules, so she insisted that we use all 12 of each victory card for 2p - thus requiring an extra pair of turns for me to clear the Colony supply.

Unfortunately, the engine took a few turns to long (even if we were going by the 8-Colony limit). My opponent had managed a few successful KC-Monument combos for something like 12 VP tokens as well as one Colony, 3 Provinces, and the initial Estates.

Final score: Them - 43, Me - 30

When 4 Colonies were left, the score was still Them - 31, Me - 30. I was debating whether to modify my strategy on that turn (instead of reducing the Colony pile from 7 to 4), but decided that with no treasure it would be too hard for me to try and rebuild any buying power before the game ended.
