In bird tale you are a wee little birdy that flies out of the nest and will try to eat as much fruit as possible. In general, it's a tunnel flyer game in which you need to start from your nest and try to fly as far as possible. You got further then last time? Well that's your new highscore. You just will be trying to beat that one.
How does it work? Well there is a forest, in the forest you start to fly, starting in the nest and by touching the screen you go up, by letting it go you will go down. That's all of the controls there are to this game, the speed stays the same. By flying higher or lower you will try to get out of the way of obstacles and in the way of fruit. The obstacles are floating branches that are everywhere in the forest, they can also be bees that fly in your opposite direction and that you need to avoid as well. One of the biggest obstacles will be floating cartwheels made off branches with spiky branches on them.
During the game you can also pick up fruit. What does this fruit do? Well the fruit is credit so you can change the game a bit. Other backgrounds instead of a summer theme, why not a night or autumn team. Or maybe instead of a little yellow bird a pink birdy, or one extra life so it doesn't matter that you hit somehting once? Well it's all fun, except for the prices. The most cheap change is to the female pink bird and will set you back 25.000 fruits. Having played the game for a couple of days I'm at 4446 pieces of fruits, okay I'm not the best player in these sort of games but I'm also bored out of the game already. To get another life you need 100.000 pieces of fruit. To just change a theme 75.000 pieces. So that's all a lot of money for just some little graphic changes. I do think that even changing the birds will make a great deal difference in speed because they would have mentioned that and they don't. Oh but before I forget, you can actually buy 100.000 pieces of fruit for $ 0.99. So wanting to change something will either take you a long time or will cost you actual money.
Seeming that the game isn't that interesting to begin with, I would leave my wallet closed and check out another game.
