I think it's absolutely wonderful so far!

I admit I am a huge fan of the series as a whole. I've not been disappointed yet. Revelations brings new things to the table in the way of combat and general mechanics and also brings a whole new game element--a tower defense style mini-game that doesn't feel out of place or gimmicky.

The story is thus far very interesting and it's quite neat to see Ezio as an older, wizened assassin leader.

The side characters, so far, are also enjoyable. I like Yusuf a lot so far. He's a character you will encounter early on in the game.

The Assassin missions have seen an improvement and now have benefits other than just giving your assassins exerience.

I can't think of any mechanics that have been taken away this time around other than I haven't seen any horses yet. There may not be any but that won't hurt my feelings. The environment of Constantinople doesn't really cater to horses anyway.

I'll be happy to answer questions if anyone wants to ask.
