I just got a copy of LLtK used. The box says the game contains 200 cards. I got 162. (5 each of Rebellion and Mobilization, 10 Health, 10 Decision, 32 Status, and 100 Intrigue.)
Sifting through the rules and posts on the 'geek, I get that all those counts are correct, except that I haven't seen a count of Intrigue cards anywhere.
If I've done my arithmetic right, 100 Intrigue cards is enough for the game. Thirty-eight more cards would be difficult to fit into the box, to say the least. So I suspect that the copy I have is complete, but can I get confirmation?

This is what I have:
5 Rebellion 5 Mobilization 10 Health 10 Decision 32 Status 100 Intrigue 38 BLANKS (5 Reb/5 Mob/3 Hlth/3 Dec/8 Stat/14 Int) 200 Total
162 Total for gameplay with the extra 38 being blank cards that have the proper card back printed and the reverse side open to add your own cards.
So to play you have everything you need. If you want to make your own stuff, you are missing those 38 cards.
BTW, I picked this up several years ago as it looked awesome. But the rules are a bit difficult to digest and seem a bit tough to explain to new people as well. I spent as lot of time creating a player aid to help the flow of the game but never finished it because of general lack of interest around here. Now that I have a new game group, I should pick up where I left off. Thanks for reminding me of this gem in the rough.

As a King you have to read all of the player characters' cards to fully understand the game and then explain the basics. Each player only has to read his character sheet.
We played it last year and we had a great time, but you got to have a couple of extroverted people for the game to really shine.
Set aside a whole evening for the session and try to dress up a bit
You won't need the blank cards.

Set aside a whole evening for the session and try to dress up a bit You won't need the blank cards. The problem is the rule book is inconsistent and seems to mix up Status and Favor frequently - In one spot it says Favor can't be 1 or 2 or you can't go to Council, but then under Council, it says everyone must attend. unless you are in the Dungeon. Then it goes on to say you can't have an Audience with the King if your status is 1 or 2. But the Treasurer starts at 1 but must be able to have an audience with the king in order to take his 3 guesses of who has what Status cards.
In another place it says everyone starts with 2 or more favor. While technically true, it is more accurate to say everyone stats at 4 or more favor, while it is Status that is at 2 or more to start the game.
So it seems to me that anyone not in the Dungeon can attend Council and neither status nor favor affect that. The exception is if you get out of jail during council, you are restored to 1 but not illegible to participate this round.
It also seems Favor is what is meant to prevent you from going before the King during Audience. So having 1 or 2 at that point means income is halved.
