Judging by the other Assassin's Creed forums here on VGG this won't be active at all
but I at least wanted to say that there is at least someone watching these forums (I am subscribed to the whole thing).
So if anyone wants to strike up a conversation I'm here!

Any experience with the 3D functionality of this game on the Xbox360? It is said to have it. Would be a reason to buy the game.

I have not. I cannot even see "3D" because of an eye condition. As far as I know, though, I've not heard anything about it not working.

As I haven't read anything official I was just interested about knowing if there is even such an option. The only site that I found that listed working 360 3D titles had that game as "upcoming". So it was quite old.

Okay then, what is your opinion on the tower defense aspect of the game? Personally I hate it as it is not in keeping with the Assassin's Creed theme, it isn't about all out fighting, it is about stealth and sneaking.
I have got 3 of the 5 keys and have done the Hagia Sofia mission, does much change beyond that, ie am I missing out on anything awesome by not seeing the game to completion?
The Desmond memories, I have done 2 of these and whilst the information gathering is interesting, does the game-play become more involved because the block generating and avoiding the nasty data stream thingies was alright for one memory, but I was bored by the 2nd.
Other than that, I have a couple of questions. If the franchise was to continue, what would you like to see in the next installment? When and where would you like it to be set?

It steps you out of your normal role for a short time--and I'm glad it's short. I thought it was a very clever implementation of a Tower Defense minigame. I guess if you really hate that part of the game they don't really make it too painful if you lose (in other words, set the controller down and lose the minigame on purpose) since you can just go reclaim the area, which is fun in it's own right.

I've got nothing for you there since you're a bit further than I am. I am slow at the main story because I dabble in just about everything that distracts me. "Oh there's a bank I haven't bought...I'll stop there right after I fight this guy and then get that viewpoint..."
I will say that I sure bet you'd be missing out on something awesome if you don't see the game to its completion. I find the story of the series interesting but maybe I'm easy to please.

I don't require the next game to be in a certain location because I don't believe that you should have that as a requirement. Let a good story determine where the next game takes place. I would, however, like to see them visit more of the current events, in Desmond's time, and maybe even incorporate a modern/futuristic assassin mechanic. (If they have in this game I haven't gotten to it yet)
I was fond of the first game's discovery of the clues the other subjects had left for Desmond and the mystery of what the Templar were up to and how the present-day Assassin's were trying to stop them. I know each game after has touched more on what current events are going on, but I'd like to see it all come to fruition.
Supposedly Assassin's Creed was meant to be a trilogy when it comes right down to it. Yeah, they sorta went to the market with the AC2 Ezio and made a mini trilogy but that's fine with me as long as they don't get too greedy and ruin the series as a whole.
