You can get the geekgold to buy one of those but first you need to obtain your level 1 microbadge to prove you stopped lurking here and became a part of the group. How do you get your level 1 badge? Well that will automaticly be gifted to you by the site when you have 100 posts here on VGG.

I have to agree with Kael.
Just try to balance posting with adding content.
And on an easy posting tip go to the Arcade word associaton game or that thread where you post random s*** so you can level up.

You're doing just fine there. Seriously! I have to agree with Kael. Just try to balance posting with adding content. And on an easy posting tip go to the Arcade word associaton game or that thread where you post random s*** so you can level up.
Ya i thibnk the other one is more inportant but this is just fun. it was hard for me to find things to post on because I did not what to spam. but if you are focued you can do it.... over the top?

I don't want to spam either. I'm subscribed to a few games and I've even posted threads, but there isn't much discussion going on. Most of the activity on VGG is in getting the database expanded and improved.

That's true but we also can use a bigger community, what do you have with a big database if no one talks to one another. This is why this may be an extra incentive to newer users to get more talking about the games and joining in the community. I sometimes find it very sad to see there is so little talk about the games we need to improve this.

I agree. I posted a few questions about some games I was looking at and I'm a little disappointed by the lack of responses.

With each game in the database essentially being its own forum, there are going to be quite a few places where very few people ever see some posts. From the sounds of it, you were wanting to discuss games you don't yet own. If that's the case, you might want to try the Recommendations forum.
