This game has a pretty big following, but no microbadges! One of the "Final Fantasy Fan" microbadges uses the image of a wizard from FFT, but that's as close as we can get.

What do you think is a good 16x16 image representative of the game? Which of these two do you think is the best start? Are there any other iconic sprites that you think would make a good microbadge?

I like the top one, Kevin.

I agree that we need a MB for this game (my all-time favorite video game).

I only know of the Final Fantasy Tactic Advance games for the Gameboy Advance, but if it is the same world, wheren't there these judges with their jurisdication card, that could be used as image, somehow?

Chocobos aren't that unique to the Tactics series, imho.

Both look pretty good, maybe you can raise the chocobo up a pixel to "center" its head.

As for other badges, I suppose people would appreciate badges for Cid, and Agrias or the other unique pcs. For generic classes the dragoon and mime standout me thinks.

FFT and the FFT:A games don't share the same world. A lot of people who loved FFT hated the FFT:A games because they don't carry the same political intrigue that the first game had; the FFT:A games are much more light-hearted. I personally have a soft spot for both of the series since my interests are more gameplay-driven.

No they aren't, but anyone who has played FFT would likely recognize the icon as an FFT chocobo because of the graphics. The graphical style is one of my favorite things about the game!

How do these look? I'm not sure there's enough demand to do a half-dozen badges, but I'll wait to hear feedback on which ones other users would like to see.

I'd buy an Agrias microbadge in a heartbeat. (Though just a general Ramza one will do just fine!)

I don't think Agrias' head is as recognizable without the body, but I'd like to hear what you all think. Given that, do you think the Ramza head should be consistent and include the upper body as well? Which looks best?

I like the Agris head w/the body, and same for the Ramza one (I like the second one in particular, but all 3 are good).

If I keep Ramza's cowlick, he is offset from Agrias and Orlandu:

Kind of looks short! If I remove that bit of hair, he is more aligned and you can see more of his upper body:

Which Ramza looks best?

Personally, I'd rather see badges done off of the portraits than the sprites, though that is harder to do. I was going to show an example, but my hosting service is being balky.

The portraits don't scale down nearly as well; I tried on one and it came out looking terrible.

I created and submitted 3 microbadges and they are now ready for purchase:
