That is a SICK review! Well done! I initially thought it was a Wizard of the Coast Advert!! (despite the fact that I really didn't like the game itself, I still wanted to watch your whole video! A testament to quality production!)
Well done. Glad you got this up in the videos section.
I did want to point out that several times in the video you said new tiles are placed however you like, but actually you must always place them so the arrow points to the tile the hero is standing on. At least twice you showed the tile added in another way, which isn't right.
Also, you kept saying Dungeon & Dragons instead of Dungeons & Dragons! Why all the Dungeons hate?
I take issue with the sentence, "Encounter cards can have different effects, which can be good or bad." I don't believe there are any "good" Encounter Cards in this game
Thanks for all the comments. There are some very minor continuity errors and that will come by as I get better at sequencing the rules in each video. I am planning to review all Heroscape figures but I am gonna be evil and start from newest to oldest. Hehe. I appreciate all the criticism because that is how I get better.
I am using Final Cut Pro (Academic). As for my blog website. I'll be working on it. I have played Earth Reborn and I like the game but don't own it. It'll be on the "to do list" soon though.
Great video. Love the style and it was quick without too much eye candy. Keep them like this, relatively short and to the point and the same quality and I will be back. I'm a fan of the "components breakdown" series by Jeremy but their is a niche for you if you can keep the videos shorter than his and with your different style. All in all....9/10.

Cool, looking forward to it all. I own all the boxed larger sets, but never got into the little figure packs (not sure I wanted to invest in so much of this (system) when I don't have a regular opponent for it.), but have always been curious with what I've been missing out. Fortunately the large boxes is plenty enough for a decent game with a fair amount of choices with characters.
You gave a very good review over a components and a little about a game play too (but didn't go into details, which is also a good thing). The video is short and a lot happens in it, so there is no time to be bored. Basically u covered what needed to be covered without useless chit-chat. Keep up the good work :-).
some of them provide a chance for minor beneficial effects. they are mostly "bad", but there are some good things that can come from an encounter card.
When I reviewed the script and talked to the host about the triangles and dungeon tile placement and he said that it coudld fit anywhere I agreed. So now I am stuck with that mistake BUT! If YouTube would get off their asses and add re-edit uploading keeping the same YouTube ID then I can fix it. Someday YouTube will have it because, well, all the other video uploaders do.
So you are just using FCP for this or are you also using Motion for the fancier animations? Looks super nice, but having done a lot of FCP keyframing, it seems like it must have taken you for freaking ever.
The camera you are using for stills is fantastic. Love the super-narrow depth of field.
I used Motion for some of the graphics and it did take me a while to finish, but it wasn't as bad. My next board game review should be on Wrath of Ashardalon if I get it next week. Thanks for the comments by the way.
