Requiem is an interactive fiction adventure designed by Dave Bernazzani and Jaime Lawrence with the help of beta testers from RPG Geek. It requires a Z-Machine interpreter to play. People who completed this adventure before January 9th, 2011, were awarded an exclusive microbadge:

The date is January 1st, 2011. James Alden, time traveler and son of Board Game Geek founder Scott Alden, needs your help... to save the world! Something on The Geek triggered the war to end all wars on January 20th, 2011, and the last remaining survivors of Earth are struggling to stay alive in 2051. Using the powerful Orb of Alden, can you travel through time to stop humanity's impending doom?

Release 9 is the official version for the RPG Geek adventure run on Jan 2nd-9th, 2011. It is preserved for all times with small warts and bugs. A cleaned up version will be coming which is probably the better version to play.
