User Summary

Altan is a champion horse racer of the Rustler's Run and leader of the village Halhin. The player must try to persuade him to trade goods again with the village Bayan which suffers from starvation during a prolonged drought. He quickly takes offense believing the player to be insulting his leadership and challenges them to complete the ‘Rustler's Run’ which if accomplished would hand over leadership of Halhin to the player. But before the player can attempt the ‘Rustler's Run’ they must first decode a map and find a symbol to prove their worth.

After successfully completing the ‘Rustler's Run’ Altan still refuses to back down saying he "cannot let Halhin be ruled by someone so careless" and demands a fight to the death. The player backs down saying he can continue to lead if he continues trade but Altan insists the village has problems of it’s own and they need a water source. Once a water source is found Altan explains that he dose not actually ‘lead’ the village and that it is unofficially controlled by Selen of the Mangano family.

Altan will continue trade if the player sides with Selen or kills her. If killed he warns the Mangano family will seek retribution.
