A British company (founded 1979) that manufactured a 6502-based microcomputer (the Oric-1) as an approximate competitor to the ZX Spectrum. It survived long enough to release successor hardware (the Oric Atmos) before abandoning its proprietary platform in favor of IBM- and MSX-compatibles.
