The convention area itself is located on the 5th floor of the south tower inside the Plaza of the Americas There will be signs to guide you to the location from the hotel. If you are staying at the Adam's Mark, there is a sky bridge that connects the hotel to the plaza.
Parking at the hotel is $12/day. There are cheaper lots all around the hotel area for $3 to $5 per day.

Flea Market
The flea market is for the buying and selling (trading) of games to the other convention attendees.
The flea market will be held in the vendor room. If you are selling games, show up a little early to set up your table.
If you are a buyer, please wait outside the room until the flea market starts (we'll announce it).
This is a great place for deals and steals - I saw some great games there last year.
Poker Tournament
We are running a No Limit Texas Hold 'Em tournament on Friday evening of the convention.
There is no buy-in for this tournament, but there will be prizes for the final table.
Signup sheets will be posted in the registration area.
Estimated duration is 3 hours.

Special Game Signup
Almost all gaming will be open gaming. Just pick a game, and find players. However, there are a few games that either are sufficiently unusual, longer, or new, which you want to get in contact with other players. To do so, look at the BGG.CON 2006 Special Game Sign up at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist.php3?action=view&listid=14783
Airport Transportation Taxi Sharing
If you are arriving at the airport and want to save money by sharing a cab, sign up to get into a group at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/129896.
Return taxi rides will be scheduled at the hotel front desk, but seeded with initial information from the above.
Other Questions
Q: Will our Halloween avatars be used on the name badges?
A: Not if you return your avatar to normal by Nov. 1.
Q: What food is available locally?
A: Aldie: I'm gonna head over to the plaza next week and ask all the food places to stay open late(r) if they can. Also, the light rail just outside the door can take you to a bevy of locations which serve food.
Q: Is there a wireless internet connection in the convention area? Is it free or how does it work?
A: Will DeMorris: I think one of the vendors was able to get wireless access through the hotel. The signal was weak in the vendor area but they were able to get a connection.
Q: what time does the rail system shut down? 11pm sticks out in my mind from last year.
A: Unknown
Q: How about a schedule for the FAQ?
A: Should be here, but go to http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/132286
Q: Will there be a "great game give-away" on Saturday where all the attendees get to take turns picking a free game from the pile.
A: There was not last year, and none has been announced this year. (Information: This is a table where each attendee must bring a game of a reasonable value, then at the end of the con, people take turns picking items off the table.)
Q: Will there be a prize table?
A: Last year there were a few grand prizes that were given away.
Q: I'm going to be in town early. Is there any sort of pre-con gaming I could attend?
A: Some of the attendees appear to be arranging some pre-con gaming in the courtyard of the convention area on Wednesday night, near the skating rink. On Tuesday nights, there is open gaming elsewhere in Dallas. See this thread for details: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/128079
Q: Hey this thread is locked? How do I ask a question?
