Features
All articles to be named as listed on the contents page. Do not include the (sometimes lengthy) subtitles from the first page of the article itself.
Descriptions as on contents page. Try to duplicate formatting (e.g. italics, bold, capitalisation) using geek wiki formatting standards.
Author as credited; any articles with no author listed should have the author '(Uncredited)' added.
Table Talk/Familiars
These regular articles have the same title in every issue. All (non-news/letters/editorial) articles now have series created that should be added to the article (see list at bottom of page).
Editorial (e.g. 'From the Editor'): Title as '[contents title] - [editorial header]', description as contents page, author as signed at end of editorial.
News (e.g. 'First Watch', 'Player Initiative'): Title and description as contents page, no author.
Reader/Fan Mail (e.g. 'Scale Mail'): Title and description as contents page, author '(reader contribution)'.
'Sage Advice': Use the title and description on the contents page, and add a line to the description on the column topic.
Comics: Whole page comics listed as individual articles, rather than as a single 'comics' article entry. No description. Author is artist.
Class Acts: These are only marked by a single 'Class Acts' entry on the contents page (with no description), but should be entered as individual articles by character class/type. For example, #323 has 11 articles, one for each class, with the class name in large letters down the margin of the page:
The format being used:
- Title: Class Acts: [Word down side margin of page] - [Header on page]
- Description: [1-6ish word description of contents]
So the two pages above would be:
- Title: Class Acts: Fighter - The Thane; Description: Specialist fighter class
- Title: Class Acts: Cleric - Heed Your Calling; Description: Backgrounds
Other regular features (e.g. 'Silicon Sorcery', 'Spellcraft'): Title as '[contents title] - [article header]', description as contents page, author as credited (or '(Uncredited)').
Exception: When the page header already includes the series name (e.g. 'The Ecology of the Choker') then use that (rather than 'Ecology - The Ecology of the Choker').
Advertisement features: e.g. 16-page D&D buyer's guides - ignore these.
