GameChat League: Swedish Meatball Division was formed in May 2011 when Lee Harris (now Ambolt) (ldsdbomber) realised the most interesting content he was reading on BGG was on the geeklists created by the Amoeba, Phoenix, and Mafia GameChat Leagues. Lee emailed a few guys on his geekbuddy list, asked a few of those guys to recommend a few names, sent out some geekmails and lo and behold, there we were.
