Help Image Gallery Browser

A Browser to view multiple images at once. There are three different Gallery Browsers as noted in the table below. Although the exact controls vary, the browsers are similar enough that the three Gallery Browsers will be documneted together.

Game IGB

Game Record >> Images Section >> Browse
Displays the gallery of images associated with a single game record.

Database IGB

Menu Action Games/Images
Displays all images in database with Sort and Category filters. as of 12/21/2007 that is 13,173 pages of images (15 images per page)

User IGB

Menu Action My Geek/Gallery
Menu Action My Geek/Profile, then Gallery Notebook Tab

Displays all imgaes in UserID's Personal Gallery, assuming you own the UserID being browsed, otherwise the gallery view is empty.

Common Image Gallery Controls

Game Name	In the title of the Game IGB, clicking on the game name will open that games's record.

Page Controls
Sort Filter	Sort - One of the three major choices Hot - Retrieves "hot" images first Recent - Retrieves "recent" images first. (Default view) Date Filter - If you choose the to use the Date filter, then you can make one of the 6 choices from the list below. Pressing the Go button after a selection will start the retrieval. Today Last 48 Hours Last 7 Days Last 30 Days This Month Last Month This Year All Time
Categories Filter	Categories - You can make one choice from any of the nine choices below. All - All images in the database BoxFront - Only those images characterized as being the "Box Front" BoxBack - Only those images characterized as being the "Box Back" Components - Only those images characterized as being the "Componnents" Customized - Only those images characterized as being the "Componnents" Play Miscellaneous Mature Uncategorized - Only those images which do not have any image characterization.
Upload Image	Only on the User Image Gallery Browser, this opens the XXX Dialog which allows the user to upload an image to his gallery.

Image Controls

The following table details the controls associated with the image for each of the three browser versions. Note that clicking the image itself will open that single image in the Image Broswer.

Clicking on the UserID, of the Geek who uploaded the image, will take you to that Geek's User Profile Notebook open to the Games Notebook Tab.

Clicking on the Propose button will propose this as the representative image for the game record.

Clicking on the Game Name will open the Game Record for that game.

Clicking on the UserID, of the Geek who uploaded the image, will take you to that Geek's User Profile Notebook open to the Games Notebook Tab.

You can only see images here if you own the gallery.

Clicking on User Image Gallery - (UserID) will relaod the gallery. Not useful as just a left click, but you can open another browser gallery in a different tab on the browser, or in a new browser, via a right mouse click...

Clicking on your UserID will take you to your User Profile Notebook open to the Games Notebook Tab.

Clicking on Edit will open the xxx Dialog which will allow you, the owner of the image, to change its label.

Clicking on Delete will open the xxx Dialog which confirms deletion of the image from your gallery. (As Oliver North found out with his eMails, deleting something doesn't make it go away! In this case it just disassociates the image with the user's gallery. The image may still be accessed by number, for example in a wiki page.)
