Pionek

Pionek is a gaming weekend that happened roughly every 3 months in Gliwice, Poland, then changed to every 6 months in 2010 (with a smaller less formal Międzypionek filling the gaps). ("Pionek" means "pawn" in Polish, and an image of a pawn is the event's logo.) It seems to average several hundred people lately.

The 5th Pionek event was the weekend of December 8 & 9, 2007. (Its announcement and after-con reports are here.) Neuroshima Hex! - Mad Bomber was given away to participants of the Neuroshima Hex! tournament.

The 6th Pionek was in March 2008.

The 7th Pionek was in June 2008.
