RPGG 2011 Goals

I think it's important to have a written set of clear goals. The act of writing them down and reviewing goals has a power that I can't quite explain. For some reason the universe seems to reward those people who have direction, purpose and clearly stated goals. I'm not smart enough to know why it works... only that it does work. And so I've given up figuring out why and I simply work the system that the universe seems to have setup.

RPG Geek - Community Goals 2011

	30,000 RPG Items in our database (Items + Issues)
	3,500 RPGs in our database (RPGs + Periodicals)
	35,000 Articles
	5,000 Sessions/Reviews
	Publish Geek: The Role-Playing Game
	Golden Geek Awards for RPGs (several categories)
	Be nominated for an Ennie for best RPG Website
	5000 ranked RPG items.
	At least 2 RPG Design contests.
	New poster level badges as incentive for contributing to our site forums.
	To have at least one RPG or RPG Item with 1000 ratings.
	At least 75 participants in the 2011 RPG Geek Secret Santa.
	Character Sheet Around the World Event
	A minimum of two webcomics designed for RPG Geek and released on the front page.
	50 Play By Forum (PBF) Games Started.
	Spearheading a contest/event/exchange program/scavenger hunt/etc that incorporates other RPG communities on the web (RPG.net, Story Games, etc.) to encourage cross-pollination.
	1 Fantasy Art Contest
	A 2nd and 3rd Site Quest (ala Tiamat's Treasure)
	20 headline articles written by invited designers/publishers
	3 successful rate, rerate,and update your RPGs days (including want to play, formerly owned, etc)
	Hold our first annual RPG Geek Week. A week dedicated to RPG Geek, including contests, promotions, community events, etc. Similar to the Knights of the Dinner Table week.
	Get representative images for people and publishers up to 50%.
	At least 10 Interviews with industry figures - posted to the front page news module.
	At least 2 additional theme Weeks ala the one we had for Knights of the Dinner Table in 2010
	Host the RPG Geek Iron Man Review contest.

Please note, these goals are from the volunteer community that helps with day-to-day activities on the RPG Geek. They do not represent (but are not in conflict with) specific goals from BoardGameGeek, LLC (i.e. Aldie, et al).
