Began showing signs of psionic powers very young. Was smuggled off Curan and into Regan’s underground by her older brother (himself already a “known psychic”). Assumed a new identity, grew up off the grid, and was trained haphazardly by a well-meaning rogue psi-healer with very limited resources. Has just found out that her brother, whom the Curanese government trained to be a mentor, has been sold by Curan to the government of a planet that is trying to build its own academy.
