clarification needed

Purpose

This page exists as a reference point for unknown acronyms or references in game descriptions that need to be elaborated. This is relevant for acronyms and references that are not covered in the glossary, though if a glossary acronym is used, it should link to its glossary entry.

Examples:

  • BAD - "Good for fans of AVL"
  • GOOD - "Good for fans of A Victory Lost (AVL)
  • BETTER - "Good for fans of AVL
  • BEST (see below) - "Good for fans of A Victory Lost
  • LINK TO GLOSSARY - "Consult the CRT" - (or list as "Combat Result Table (CRT)" in the first instance.)

Generally, this should not be an issue for game titles, as a wiki link can direct a user to the proper game.

E.g. The statement, "This game is a lot like ASL", need not be expanded because the wiki link will take a user directly to the page for Advanced Squad Leader.

Function

Users need not add clarification data to this page. Use the "What Links Here" links to determine what games need data clarified.
