Scott Allen Kelton - Born: June 18, 1970; in Chicago Died: Nov. 26, 2007

Scott Kelton was a rare individual who was educated without being condescending, well off without being flashy, religious without being overbearing, and a good friend to anyone who knew him.

Scott received a bachelors degree from the University of Illinois and was passionate about the school and its athletic programs. Later, he earned a masters of divinity from Trinity Bible College and was ordained as a Evangelical Free minister. Along the way, her performed ministry and outreach programs at Northwestern University in Illinois and in Romania. In his spare time, he somehow found a way to learn Russian, Greek, and Hebrew.

While Scott never married, he lead a rich life with the people that he touched. He was known as uncle to more than a few children whom he cherished and interacted with as much as possible. Additionally, Scott was a Godfather to three children.

Scott's hobbies were many. He played volleyball, softball, basketball, and curling. Of course he enjoyed games of almost any nature: miniatures, board, or computer. He loved movies and was an avid reader.

In 2005 Scott opened the Game Escape in Crystal Lake, Illinois. It was a full service hobby store that made the most of its 1500 square feet. In the two and a half years that he was open, he forged a very close knit community in the area and revitalized gaming. People knew that they could go to the store and find a friendly ear to talk too, whether it was about games, sports, or politics.

Most of all, Scott was a friend and one that is sorely missed.

He is survived by his parents Bill and Bobbi Kelton.
