Porting cardboard to digital.

A forum for hobbyist and professional programmers, and general enthusiasts to discuss development of computer version of board and card games.

Goals are to expand the board game hobby by offering:

  • Electronic tutorials that show how to setup and play correctly
  • Ability to try out a board game before buying it
  • Increase proficiency level of gamers by creating challenging AI
  • Additional methods of play, play-by-email, play-by-web, real-time online, VASSAL, Cyberboard, ZunTzu, Battlegrounds, etc.

We will discuss how we can accomplish these goals.

This guild came up as a result of maintaining the SoftBoard Games geeklist.
