Gary Grigsby is a computer wargame designer and programmer.

Grigsby's games were published by Strategic Simulations, Inc. (SSI) from his first game design in 1982 until 1997. During that time he created several titles that are considered classics of the wargame genre, including Kampfgruppe, USAAF, War in Russia and the Steel Panthers series.

In the late nineties Grigsby designed two games for Talonsoft, Battle of Britain and 12 O'clock High. In 2001 he started a game development company called 2 By 3 Games with Joel Billings (founder of SSI) and Keith Brors. Their latest Grigsby-designed title, Gary Grigsby's War Between the States, was released by Matrix Games in 2008.

Due to Grigsby's popularity with computer wargamers, several of his games have included his name in the title.
